It all starts with me.

The way i look at things makes me know how to deal with the regardless of how complicated the may seem to be. Life is the most interesting thing we can have. Three weeks ago I seriously hated life for I viewed it as bad, tough, unfair,....... the list was long. Today as i write this, its at the peak. Am so happy with it and i want to even live it more. Why? This is because I decided to look at an upside down situation at an upright angle and instead of seeing the upside downness of the situation, I saw uprightness of the same situation. Am complicating my vocabulary Eeeh? see it from a different angle and you'll see it differently.
Well ! was talking about the way we view things. We human beings have a tendancy of seeing the half glass and not the half water in the glass. I have made a choice of seeing the positiveness in every situation around me. This has been giving me the contentment i need and deserve. I have learnt the art of loving myself and others despite the hatred i feel for our leaders who do not know how to priolitise our good countries needs. People are dying of hunger but God knows what they are doing...... i can't give the list. Lets not wait for them but lets start by helping those near us who are suffering and who knows, we might save lives,.

Carol, its interesting the way sometimes life turns and we think its the end of the road only to realise some surprises on the way. I agree that we shape our lives by being optimistc. Deciding that we will live life to the full, ever tried to live a day where you decide that nobody will annoy you? regardless of what they do you keep your cool? or have you ever thought that today will be a good day, and decided it will? I have tried and I know it works!!

I think bad things happen so that people do some good. I dont know if you understand. If there was no poverty and everyone was rich I dont think people would care about each other. Think about it. If we all had money, we would be competing to get even more especially since human beings never get satisfied.There would be so much evil coz we all know wat money can do. God gave each of us talents, jobs......you name it. We can do so much without the leaders. As you said, lets not wait for them. Let's do something. Lets not sit down and talk abt how we hate our leaders......blah,blah,blah......they dont care. and the more we talk,the more people are dying coz of things we can do.

We so often in life look at things froma negative point of veiw forgetting that there is a reason and a season for everything. There is war, hunger, death mostly affecting the women in our country and it can be heart wretching but as you have said there are brighter days and each individial should play a role in fighting these issues no matter how small the way.
