A post card is usually a short letter sent from one person to another, often long distance stating how one is doing or feeling. This video was produced after YWLI held a session dubbed "The Post Card" that engaged LBTI Individuals to use art, collage and mosaic to express themselves and pass on a message to the society. This Post card is an insight from the young women's point of view. The session was intense and brought out powerful stories, celebrations, hope and the struggle for equality and inclusion within our society.

To my shock, Emma* my 11 year old daughter in class 6, who is also a first twin of my other daughter said somthing that touched me really deep and she wanted an answer. She asked " How many fathers don't take responsibility for their children? or is it because I am a girl that my father does not take care of me?"

Women's movement building

Day two of the gender festival was very exciting. The theme of the day was movement building in a diverse society. There were various break-away sessions after plenary, all of which captured the spirit of movement building based on teh work that the various groups do.
