Biography

Myra has a Diploma in Communication Arts and is currently pursuing a Degree in Public Relations and Community Development at Daystar University. She has 6 years professional expertise in the fields of external relations, communication, gender development and governance from involvement in issues of human rights and especially women's human rights. She is strongly motivated by the desire to address injustices and to promote fairness and equality.

I believe in the mobilization of the critical numbers of women for participation and involvement in transforming society. I believe in the power of movement building. I am driven by the realization that the future leadership is here; that young women of Kenya can no longer be ignored. We have the energy, ability and drive to lead this country to greater and bigger lengths and heights. I shall not rest until Kenya is a society free of all forms of discrimination and especially sexual violence against women. Leadership is Action not Position.
