Biography

Sophie has a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology and holds Diploma in gender and development. She is an alumni of 'Marquette University, Les Aspin Centre for Governance (Washington Dc, USA), on anti corruption and good governance and Women Peace Makers Program (WPP) on Gender and active non-violence. She has great passion for women's rights and dignity.  She has 8 years working experience in empowering community members through training and advocacy in NGOs in Kenya and Sudan on issues of violence against women, gender mainstreaming, child rights, governance and HIV/Aids.

I believe in the dignity of women and men, girls and boys and equity of opportunities in accessing societal benefits for women and girls. My mission is to advocate for the qualitative inclusion of women and girls in all decision making and developmental processes. Whatever I will do, I will do it to my best
